Bio
Dr. Olga Ormond is a Research Officer with the Network Innovations Centre in RINCE, the School of Electronic Engineering, Dublin City University, Ireland. Her research interests are in the area of heterogeneous wireless networks with focus on handover and user-centric network selection. She has published in prestigious international conferences, and is a reviewer for international journals and conferences and a member of IEEE. In 2007 she graduated with a PhD from UCD, where she worked under the supervision of Dr. John Murphy and Dr. Gabriel Miro-Muntean in the Performance Engineering Lab. Originally a DCU graduate with a B.Eng in Telecommunications, Olga has previously worked for Ericsson Systems Expertise Ltd, and Broadcom Éireann Research Ltd.
