Open Offers

Long Term Visits / External Fellowships:
If you would like to visit the Vision Systems Group for an extended period of time (more than a month), send your CV and a short description of your plans for the visit to Prof. Paul F Whelan.

Post-Doctoral Fellowships:
Postdoctoral fellowships are available for one or two years. Applications (including curriculum vitae, list of publications, research plan, names of three references with their e-mail addresses, and the intended duration of your stay) should be sent to Prof. Paul F Whelan. Prospective Postdoctoral researchers can apply for individual Postdoctoral Fellowships to work with the Vision Systems Group via the Irish Research Council for Science, Engineering and Technology (IRCSET) funded Embark Initiative.

Potential postdoctoral fellows and long term visitors may also consider applying for fellowships from external sources. For example: Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) under their E.T.S. Walton Visitor Awards or Marie Curie Fellowships from the European Commission.

Ph.D. Positions:
Prospective Ph.D. students can apply for specific posts as advertised or individual Post Graduate Research Scholarships to work with the Vision Systems Group via the Irish Research Council for Science, Engineering and Technology (IRCSET) funded Embark Initiative.

Undergraduate / Intern Positions:
Prospective Undergraduate / Intern students can apply for via the SFI UREKA (Undergraduate Research Experience & Knowledge Award).
